<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In this work, we study the neuroprotective properties of lithium ascorbate in in vivo and in vitro stress models. Neurocytological and behavioral studies were carried out on models of stress in both a culture of nerve cells and experimental animals. The studied drug showed a significant neuroprotective effect of lithium ascorbate in neuronal cultures exposed to glutamate toxicity and an adaptogenic effect in stress models in rats. The results suggest that lithium ascorbate possess a high neuroprotective potential in stress models in vivo and in vitro.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>стресс</kwd><kwd>эксайтотоксичность</kwd><kwd>глутамат</kwd><kwd>аскорбат лития</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>stress</kwd><kwd>excitotoxicity</kwd><kwd>glutamate</kwd><kwd>lithium ascorbate</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Chouhan A., Abhyankar A., Basu S.
