<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Objectives were to determine whether C3435T polymorphism in ABCB1 gene is associated with efficacy and safety of bisoprolol treatment in Russian pregnant women with mild to moderate chronic hypertension. The comparative analysis of allele/genotype frequencies of ABCB1 gene C3435T polymorphism was undertaken in Russian pregnant women with mild to moderate chronic hypertension (N1=65) and healthy subjects on the similar periods of gestation (N2=86). The data suggest that C3435T polymorphism in ABCB1 gene is not associated with efficacy of bisoprolol treatment. The maternal ABCB1/C3435T polymorphism showed association with birth weight and Apgar score.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гликопротеин Р</kwd><kwd>полиморфизм гена ABCB1</kwd><kwd>беременность</kwd><kwd>хроническая артери- альная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>бета-адреноблокатор</kwd><kwd>glycoprotein P</kwd><kwd>polymorphism of a gene of ABCB1</kwd><kwd>pregnancy</kwd><kwd>chronic arterial hypertension</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Abalos Е., Duley L., Steyn D.W.
