Histomorphological researches of relationship of a bone with dental implant

Abstract

We have developed criteria for the experimental study of dental implants in the mini-pigs provide significant information on the osseointegration of dental implants in the development of complications that lead to loss of the implant. One may characterize the processes leading to the loss of the implant or the development of peri-implantitis, and to assess the distribution, extent and adequacy of the load.
